What is the 16 Handles App?
The 16 Handles App is a free mobile app that enables you to pay with your phone, earn rewards, and receive special offers!
How do I join?
Once you download the app, you’ll get $5 for every $50 you spend, as well as receive exclusive offers from 16 Handles! You will also be able to browse our full menu of flavors and toppings and find directions to your closest 16 Handles.
If you prefer not to use the app, you can visit your local store for a physical loyalty card and visit thelevelup.com/a/16handles to register your card.
What are the status levels?
The status levels are tiered loyalty rewards that you can unlock throughout the year.
Spend $100 within the calendar year
Way to go! You’ll unlock a $5 birthday credit – treat yo’self!
Spend $1,000 within the calendar year
You’re a Fro-Yo superstar! You’ll receive an exclusive VIP 16 Handles swag bag filled with goodies!
Spend $5,000 within the calendar year
Wow! You are the ultimate Fro-Yo connoisseur. We’ll create a flavor in your honor – plus, you’ll receive a party for you and 16 of your friends!
How do I transfer my current rewards points to the app?
When setting up the app, you can simply enter the phone number, loyalty card number, or email address associated with your current rewards account, or you can go to settings and select ‘Migrate Points’ and complete the transfer if you did not do so during initial setup. The points will automatically be transferred to your new account.
How do I use rewards/credit?
Once you’ve unlocked credit, it is automatically added to your account.
To use this credit, simply use the 16 Handles app to pay and/or earn loyalty like you normally would. The credit is automatically applied to the purchase and will show on your emailed receipt as “Credit Applied.”
How Do I Close My Account?
We’re sorry to see you go! If you must, we’re happy to assist in the process.
Simply contact firstname.lastname@example.org with the email address used for your the 16 Handles App account and we will deactivate it and take you off our mailing list.
However, if you change your mind and wish to reactivate your account with this e-mail address, just send us an email and we can help you through that process, as well.
Is the 16 Handles App secure?
Yes! The 16 Handles App is powered by LevelUp, which takes the security of your personal information very seriously. Your credit card information is transmitted by SSL directly to a secure electronic vault. At no time is your credit card information stored on our servers. Additionally, we never sell your personal information to third parties, including businesses that work with us to offer LevelUp as a way to pay.

Where Can I See My App Transaction History?
Your transaction history is located in the 16 Handles App.
1. Open the 16 Handles App and login
2. Open Settings > tap Transaction History
3. You’ll see a list showing the date & full order total of all transactions made with the app
4. Tap on any of these entries to view further details about the transaction such as tip, time, location, and any credit that was applied to the purchase
Additionally, we’ll send a receipt to your registered email address each time you pay with the 16 Handles app. You’ll see the location visited, amount spent, and any credit applied.
My transaction went through twice. How do I get a refund?
Please send us a support request from the app (Settings > Report an Issue or Get a Refund) or an email (email@example.com) from the email address tied to your 16 Handles App account with the date, amount, and location of the transaction in question. We will contact the merchant on your behalf to discuss the issue and apply any refunds when necessary.
I was overcharged. How can I get a refund?
If you’re still at 16 Handles:
Speak to a team member to refund you and redo the transaction for the correct amount

I lost my phone!
The 16 Handles App is powered by LevelUp, which takes security of your personal information very seriously, so stopping any activity on your account is simple.
