At 16 Handles, community has always been the cornerstone of our business. While that often means joining in moments of celebration, it also means sharing in your concerns and priorities when circumstances change. Now and always, the health and well-being of our customers, team members, and communities are our primary consideration.
We have been closely monitoring information regarding COVID-19 (Coronavirus). With this in mind, we wanted to send you a note regarding the steps we’re taking in our shops based on careful consideration and guidelines from government and health organizations.
Our teams have added additional cleansers to their cleaning and sanitizing practices throughout the store.
As a precaution, we’ll also be moving waffle bowls and cones behind the counter. They’ll be available by request—just ask a 16 Handles team member if you’d like one. We will also be temporarily suspending sampling (or offering samples prepared only by a 16 Handles team member when and if business allows). Our teams will remain focused as ever on online pick-up and delivery orders to ensure the best service possible.
Complimentary hand sanitizer is available in most of our shops, and in addition to our team’s commitment in regularly sanitizing surfaces in the store, we ask for your support in using hand sanitizer or washing your hands as you come in.
We recognize our unique role in our communities as a happy place for so many, and we are committed to being here for the families we serve, especially when things feel stressful or unsure. We deeply appreciate your support and trust. We’re also grateful for the hard work of our team members, managers, and local shop owners as everyone at 16 Handles comes together in our efforts to keep our staff and customers happy and healthy.
